|Hello again everyone, |
We have been enjoying a break in the south of England for our eldest son's wedding, such a happy occasion. After that, while he and his new wife are on their honeymoon, we have been house- and cat-sitting. I have to tell you that these cats know very well who is boss and that it is neither of us!
I have been reflecting on other pleasures too. One is Saturday and Sunday mornings in Ponte de Lima. You can never know beforehand what you will see in Camões Square. If you'd like to find out some of things you can see there go to:
Tradition is alive and well in the Minho
The second story is about a special treat of a visit to Lisbon and what we saw there. It was a stunning experience, one which I would recommend to everyone. To find out what it was that we enjoyed so much go to:
Fishy business in Lisbon
I trust you have all been having a wonderful summer and that you have avoided the rain of the UK without swapping it for some of the excessive heat that southern Europe has been subjected to.
With best wishes to you all,
